Ah, Buffalo Chicken Pinwheels…who doesn’t like delicious buffalo chicken and cheese wrapped up so perfect for a quick and easy finger food? This is very similar to other Pinwheel Recipes we have here at According to Mama. To demonstrate that you can use with crescent rolls or pizza crust, we switched this one up with Pillsbury pre-made pizza crust with a nice egg wash. If crescent rolls are what you have in the fridge though, do not hesitate. VERY YUMMY both ways!.
The Stuff You Need for Buffalo Chicken Pinwheels
- 1 Pillsbury Pizza Crust
- 3/4 cup Buffalo Sauce
- 1 can (14 oz) shredded chicken
- 1 cup shredded cheese (I prefer Mozzarella)
- 1-2 eggs eggs (for egg wash only)
What You Gotta Do
Preheat oven to 425°F. Roll out the pizza crust into a rectangle. Mix shredded chicken with buffalo sauce and some of the cheese in a bowl. Spread on the Buffalo sauce. Top with chicken mixture. Roll it up longways, and cut into slices. Place on baking sheet with parchment paper, and apply egg wash. Bake face-up for 15 minutes.
